Crazy life.
OK, so I had one of "those" dreams involving a fellow NaNo'er last night. Or perhaps it was early this morning. It was quite intense and really, really pleasant. And a complete surprise, not something I'd fantasized while awake, but now that I think about it... I want to do it again. :-) Now I'm wondering whether I'll act all funny the next time I run into said NaNo'er.

It's probably impolitic to ask someone flat-out whether they're as good a kisser as you dreamed they would be, huh. Especially when the asker is married, huh.

Oh, I don't know-- I tend to react either by feeling very awkward, or just out-and-out saying "Hey! I had a sex dream about you last night!"

Um.... I suppose that reaction depends on a) how attracted I am to them in the waking world, and b) whether we're friends, or just acquaintences.

Good point, what a fun idea. I admit to a real-world attraction, and it was a really good sex dream, yeah -- but this is an acquaintance (as are all my NaNo buddies, really -- some are sort of on the cusp of friend-ness, but it hasn't taken that leap yet for anyone, I wouldn't say) -- so maybe, as fun as that sounds, it might not be the best approach.

I'll think about it. I'm rather liking the idea, actually: it would be exciting to watch the reaction. :-)

I'm guessing I am going to be treated to the hawk-eye now, every time we all get together, huh. :-)

Hey, why not? I was thinking of just acting out, but then I remembered that the other party doesn't read my mind, and might not share my interest. And that would be so demoralizing: puckering up for a really good tongue exchange and getting spat out. Feh.

Just write a scene into your novel that enacts the sex dream. Catharsis, and word count, at the same time!

Worked for me, at least.
